Description

The Parasitic Destruction Insect Technique is the foundation of the Aburame clan's fighting style. Shortly after birth, thousands of special insects take up residence in a clan member's body. They feed on the host's chakra, and in return carry out their commands: they attack, defend, conduct reconnaissance, and do much more. It is these insects that become the basis of all of an Aburame's abilities, upon which the rest of the clan's techniques are built.

In the classic version, insects of the kikaichu species are used, from which the technique gets its name. However, this is not the only option: Torune Aburame commands rinkaichu, and Yōji Aburame — kochū. Some carriers use several species at once, for example Shino Aburame wields both kikaichu and kidaichu, while Muta Aburame uses kikaichu and shokaichu.
