Aburame Torune

Torune, like all Root operatives, was deprived of pronounced emotions and acted solely as a tool for carrying out Danzo's orders. His loyalty to the leader was absolute and allowed no doubt. Despite this, he retained a deep attachment to his sworn brother Shino and voluntarily took his place during recruitment to protect him from the harsh life in Root. A sincere need for friendship still lingered within him, and he genuinely grew close to his partner Fu. He treated his opponents with cold confidence, and sometimes with arrogance, believing he could defeat even someone who had beaten Pain. In battle, he acted calculatingly and ruthlessly, instantly assessing the situation. His emotions surfaced extremely rarely and only in those moments when the conversation turned to those who had been dear to him in the past. He was cold-blooded enough to sacrifice himself without hesitation for the sake of the mission. Despite all his outward indifference, he wished no harm to Shino and was glad that he had grown up as an ordinary shinobi. Torune possessed a sharp mind and knew how to quickly adapt to a changing enemy tactics. He was ready to kill and be killed without asking questions. His personality was almost completely erased by training, but remnants of humanity still made themselves known. He served as a perfect example of how Root turned people into soulless tools.
