Shibi Aburame is an extremely reserved and taciturn person, even more withdrawn than his son Shino. He always remains calm and composed, not succumbing to panic. As the clan head, he is cautious in his judgments and never underestimates an opponent, no matter how weak they may seem. Behind his silence lies a deep care for his family: he did everything possible to protect Shino from being recruited into Root, and when his son was poisoned, he was the first to come to his aid. He considers his insects as equal partners and does not view them as mere tools. There is not a trace of vanity or showing off in him. He prefers to stay in the shadows and act according to the situation. Even in the most tense moments, he expresses his thoughts briefly and to the point. His loyalty to Konoha does not require loud words, and he takes on any assigned task without unnecessary argument. He treats his comrades as equals, without trying to assert authority. In battle, he is calculating and not inclined to unjustified risk. Despite the frightening nature of his techniques, he remains a calm and judicious warrior. He mourns the death of his comrades silently, without putting his feelings on display.
