Even resurrected by Edo Tensei, the Third Raikage maintained his usual calm and confidence, showing no fear or confusion. He remained a man of honor and openly objected when Mu proposed that Ōnoki betray the alliance for gain. In conversation with the other Kage, he expressed firm belief that the new generation had surpassed them, and therefore there was no need to fear battle with their own villages. He sincerely praised the son of the Fourth Kazekage for his strength, showing that he respects worthy enemies. His care for the people of Kumo had not gone anywhere, and he still considered it his duty to protect his comrades at any cost. Even when Kabuto suppressed his personality, turning him into a mindless puppet, in rare moments of liberation he tried to warn the alliance of danger. Pride, as in life, did not allow him to discuss the scar on his chest, and he did not seek excuses for his defeats. In battle, he acted directly and assertively, but did not lose his head, himself explaining his weak points to his opponent. His rage was provoked only by betrayal, not by his own subjugated position. In his interaction with Dodai, he retained warm notes, immediately recognizing an old comrade. He believed that the alliance must stand, and his last thoughts were that the new generation would see things through to the end. Even deprived of will, he continued to fight with the same relentless power as in life. His character was not broken, and after the technique was undone, he departed with dignity, leaving Kumo in the hands of his son.
