The Hyuga are considered one of the noble clans of Konoha, alongside the Uchiha. Their strength lies not in destruction, but in perfection: flawless technique, discipline, and an all-seeing eye. They live as a closed community with their own laws, where a person's status is determined from birth.
The clan's main treasure, the Byakugan, is passed down through blood and makes the Hyūga the most dangerous close-combat fighters in Konoha.

Byakugan and Gentle Fist
The combination of the eye and fighting style makes the Hyūga unique.
**Byakugan** provides an almost 360-degree field of vision and sees the opponent's chakra circulation system: all channels and three hundred sixty-one tenketsu points.
**Gentle Fist** (Jūken) strikes not the body, but these points. A precise strike closes the chakra flow, disabling organs and muscles from within.
The pinnacle of the style is the Heavenly Rotation and the Eight Trigrams technique: a flurry of strikes that cuts off all of the opponent's chakra in seconds.

Main and branch family
The clan is divided in two. The main branch inherits power, the branch protects it. To prevent the Byakugan from falling into enemy hands, each member of the branch is given a cursed seal, the "cage for a bird": it seals the eye after death and allows the main branch to inflict pain on the servant with a single gesture.
This system cost the Hyuga clan their humanity, but gave them power. The Byakugan is a gift that turns its bearers into living tools of the clan. The Gentle Fist is a fighting style that uses the Byakugan to attack the opponent's internal organs and chakra. The branch families are those born without the Byakugan, and they serve the main family. This system turned the clan into a ruthless machine, where every clan member is a cog in the mechanism. But the price of this system is the loss of individuality and freedom. The seal turned a person into small change.
