Gentle Fist - a hand-to-hand combat style of the Hyuga clan, considered an unsurpassed martial art and the most formidable taijutsu of Konoha. It does not break bones or leave external wounds, but inflicts heavy internal damage. The user surgically injects their own chakra into the opponent's circulatory system, damaging organs closely connected to the affected area of the network. Even a fleeting touch can cause serious injury, which is why the technique is called "gentle".
With the Byakugan, an experienced fighter targets 361 tenketsu - key nodes of the chakra system. Forcibly opening or closing these points allows one to fully control the opponent's chakra: one can either enhance its flow or completely block it, depriving the enemy of the ability to use techniques. Any chakra-based substances are destroyed by the Gentle Fist: the user releases chakra from their palms in the form of a thin needle, cutting through foreign energy. Moreover, chakra can be emitted from any tenketsu, not just from the hands, which makes binding the fighter with shackles useless.
The style requires the Byakugan, as the chakra system is indistinguishable to the naked eye, and therefore remains the exclusive property of the Hyuga clan. It is most effective in close combat and vulnerable against long-range opponents who can maintain distance. Besides attack, the Gentle Fist is suitable for auxiliary actions - for example, joint realignment.
