Description

Obito's version of the Six Paths of Pain is an Outer Path technique through which he took control of six resurrected jinchuriki bodies during the Fourth Shinobi World War. Each body contained a single black receiver hidden in the left half of the chest; when transforming into a Tailed Beast form, the receiver moved to the neck. Obito sealed the corresponding beasts back into their bodies, maintaining control through the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, and forcibly drove them into their full Tailed Beast form, although this increased the risk of rebellion.

Due to the colossal strain required to simultaneously control six tailed beasts, Obito did not apply the Six Paths Techniques to them. Instead, he used the jinchuriki's living abilities, such as Roshi's Lava Release and Utakata's Bubble Ninjutsu. His own Sharingan gave him access to what the bodies saw, allowing him to synchronize their attacks with extreme precision.

As in Nagato's classic version, the eyes of the controlled bodies bore the Rinnegan pattern, and the shared field of vision ensured coordination and coverage of blind spots. However, Obito did not distribute abilities across individual bodies and relied on their original techniques, and could also simultaneously force all six into their Tailed Beast form.
