Spacetime Technique Formula: Descent into the Underworld — a kinjutsu created by Orochimaru purely for revenge. It was used by the revived Sound Four, unleashing the hatred accumulated in the cursed seals. When activated, a seal forms around the user, capturing everyone within range. The souls of both the targets and the users themselves are separated from their bodies and sealed within a special barrier that sensors cannot sense and the Byakugan cannot see. Caught targets are in a state similar to suspended animation: they are alive, but barely, and their chakra flow stops. To return a soul to the body, one must touch it with chakra, much like dispelling a genjutsu. Inside the barrier, the souls retain consciousness and can use their techniques. Even if the users are defeated, the technique does not dissipate. Those caught are doomed: their bodies will die over time. However, the technique requires a sacrifice: the users give their lives in order to capture the targets. Moreover, the users' malice is not contained by the barrier, so a shinobi who can sense hostility may find the barrier and destroy it, freeing the souls, while the users vanish.
