Tayuya is a rude, foul-mouthed, and domineering girl who communicates with those around her exclusively through insults. She possessed a sharp, masculine style of behavior and did not mince words even toward her comrades, although they had grown accustomed to her antics. Constant quarrels with Jirobo, who reproached her for being unfeminine, ended with her calling him fat. Extremely arrogant, Tayuya considered all enemies "trash" and sincerely believed she was capable of killing even Kakashi. At the same time, she acknowledged Kimimaro's superiority, knowing he could easily deal with her. Tayuya possessed a stubborn, unbending spirit and hated to lose. During the battle with Shikamaru, she developed an involuntary respect for her opponent, which she expressed in her sarcastic manner. Like the other members of the Four, she had her own understanding of morality and criticized Shikamaru for sacrificing comrades for the sake of a single person. When it came to the mission, she placed duty to Orochimaru above all else. Despite her outward aggressiveness, in critical moments she remained cool-headed and acted calculatedly. Her speech was always filled with threats and mockery.
