Deity: Birth of the World of Trees

This technique grants control over the roots of the Divine Tree. The user causes them to spread across the entire planet and entangle living beings. Most often it is used together with the Infinite Tsukuyomi: those immersed in the illusion end up enclosed in the bark of the roots, as if in cocoons. In this state the victims remain alive, but their chakra is gradually drained. The collected energy flows to a single point so that the Tree can cultivate a new chakra fruit. The user of the technique can take this chakra for himself.

Over time the prisoners lose their personality and distinctive traits, turning into White Zetsu. Simply cutting the branches will not free a victim: new ones quickly grow in place of the cut ones. The only way to save the people is to cancel the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Then the roots and the already created White Zetsu disappear, and the prisoners come to their senses, if they have not yet managed to turn into Zetsu.
