Hozuki

The Hozuki Clan is one of the ancient and mysterious clans of the Hidden Mist Village (Kirigakure), whose history is closely intertwined with the watery expanses and harsh traditions of the Mist Village. The origins of this clan date back to the time when the founders of Kirigakure were just beginning to shape the unique shinobi culture adapted to the picturesque yet relentless conditions of the Land of Water.

For centuries, the Hozuki Clan held a worthy place in the hierarchy of Kirigakure. Their members served in the village's elite units, often carrying out missions related to underwater operations, espionage, and the elimination of enemy forces in coastal zones. The Hozuki's abilities were especially valued during wars between the hidden villages, when their immunity to ordinary blades and unique tactical capabilities provided a significant advantage in naval battles.

One of the most tragic pages in the clan's history was the era associated with the reign of the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura. During the so-called "bloody mist" period, many powerful clans of Kirigakure were subjected to persecution and extermination. The Hozuki Clan, despite their combat abilities, also suffered heavy losses. Internal village conflicts, political intrigues, and the ruthless struggle for survival led to the thinning of the Hozuki ranks. Many talented shinobi perished in futile internecine conflicts or were forced to leave their native lands.

Among the most notable representatives of the clan are the brothers Mangetsu and Suigetsu Hozuki. Mangetsu, the elder brother, gained fame as an outstanding swordsman and was known by the nickname "Second Coming of the Demon". His skill and composure in battle became legendary, and he himself embodied the golden age of the clan. The tragic death of Mangetsu left a deep mark on the fate of his younger brother Suigetsu, who later became one of the key allies of Sasuke Uchiha and an important figure in the events of the Fourth Shinobi World War.

Suigetsu Hozuki, despite his tendency toward sarcasm and carefree behavior, demonstrated the true potential of the Hozuki hydration. His ability to achieve perfect hydration allowed him not only to avoid damage but also to restore injured tissues, making him an exceptionally resilient fighter. Suigetsu's participation in the "Taka" team, his confrontation with Akatsuki, and his contribution to the end of the war strengthened the reputation of the Hozuki Clan throughout the shinobi world.

The current state of the Hozuki Clan remains shrouded in mystery. After numerous wars and political upheavals, the clan's numbers have significantly dwindled.
