The resurrected Ginkaku retained all the caustic wit and arrogance that distinguished him in life. He still considered words a fearsome weapon, mocked his opponents, and demanded respect for the Gold and Silver Brothers. His attachment to Kinkaku had not weakened at all — even under the control of the Impure World, he continued to look at his brother with adoration and fear for him. At the same time, he remained cunning and ruthless, sealing enemies into a gourd without hesitation. He openly praised Darui for his ruthlessness when the latter attacked regardless of a hostage. His anger flared easily whenever someone called the brothers a "disgrace" to Kumo. Despite his subjugated state, his personality was not completely erased: he continued to rage, sneer, and call out to his brother. Only when Kinkaku could not save him and Ginkaku was pulled into the gourd did genuine terror sound in his voice. Even as a puppet, he remained the same vicious, caustic, and brother-devoted warrior.
