In Konoha the Akimichi are known as the enforcers and as the most good-natured people in the village. Insulting their food or calling them fat is the only way to truly anger a usually calm Akimichi.

Expansion techniques

The clan's secret art is controlling the size of one's own body.

  • Multiple expansion. The warrior inflates the entire body or a separate part, turning a fist into a battering ram.

  • Human cannonball. The Akimichi curls into a giant ball and rolls over enemies like a crushing roller.

  • Partial expansion. Only an arm or a leg is selectively enlarged for one powerful blow.

  • The cost. All techniques burn calories, so the Akimichi must eat a lot and in advance.

Three pills and butterfly wings

As a last resort, the clan has a trump card: three colored pills that greatly enhance the warrior, burning not just calories but life force itself.

  • Green, yellow, red. Each subsequent one is more powerful and more dangerous than the previous.

  • Butterfly mode. After the red pill, chakra bursts out as butterfly wings, and the Akimichi becomes the strongest fighter on the field for a brief moment, risking not surviving the battle.
