Third Eye

Third Eye is a ninjutsu that allows creating a floating eye from sand. Gaara connects this eye to his optic nerve with chakra, so he sees everything that falls into its field of vision. The technique makes it possible to conduct covert surveillance while remaining unnoticed. When Gaara surrounds himself with a sphere of the Sand Shield, the Third Eye remains outside, allowing him to watch the enemy without giving up his defense. Gaara could also create several such eyes at once and use one of them as an eavesdropping device. Rasa created the Third Eye from gold dust. To see through the Third Eye, one must close one of one's own eyes.
