Sage Transformation is the kekkei genkai of the Jugo clan, allowing its bearer to unconsciously absorb natural energy through special bodily fluids. As energy accumulates, the body undergoes changes: the skin darkens, the sclera of the eyes turn black, the irises turn yellow, and the hair lengthens and may change color. Physical parameters sharply increase — strength, speed, endurance, reflexes, and durability grow proportionally to the volume of absorbed energy. The main advantage is the ability to instantly transform any part of the body into a weapon: axes, piston fists, chains, jet boosters on the back and arms, as well as extending the limbs to grab distant targets.
Kabuto Yakushi, having implanted Jugo's DNA, used this transformation to enter Sage Mode. In Orochimaru's experiments, this ability is known as the Cursed Seal Transformation, and the bearer of the Sage Transformation itself can transplant his own flesh to anyone compatible with such experiments, healing severe wounds, but paying for this with a reduction in body size and a rejuvenation of appearance.
