Water Prison Technique

The Water Prison Technique is a Water Release ninjutsu that encases a target in a sphere of water. The water for it is extracted from a nearby source or spewed from the mouth. The liquid inside the sphere is noticeably heavy, which restricts movement and makes breathing extremely difficult, preventing the prisoner from escaping without outside help. To maintain the prison, the user must constantly touch it, usually keeping a hand submerged in the water. Because of this, Water Clones are often used: either the clone holds the prisoner while the original attacks others, or the clone itself forms the prison from its own body. Neji Hyuga managed to destroy it by simultaneously releasing chakra from all tenketsu, and Kisame Hoshigaki by overfilling the sphere with water until it burst. The technique can also be used on oneself as a personal shelter, sealing oneself in the sphere and keeping opponents away.
