Remote Detonation Technique

Remote Detonation Technique - a ninjutsu that allows remotely activating pre-placed explosive seals. The user imbues the seals with their own chakra at the moment of placement, after which they can initiate the explosion from a distance in two ways: set a timer with a precise delay time or activate manually using a special hand seal. The higher the skill, the shorter the delay and the more precise the control. At the highest level of mastery of the technique, one can set any explosion time or even do without a delay, detonating the seals at the most unexpected moment for the enemy.

Hiruzen Sarutobi used this technique in battle against Orochimaru, attaching explosive seals to the resurrected bodies of Hashirama and Tobirama Senju and remotely detonated them. Yugito Nii used remote detonation to collapse a passage and cut off escape routes for Kakuzu and Hidan.
