Yugito is deeply devoted to her village and comrades: upon learning that pursuers from Akatsuki, she deliberately leads them to a wasteland to protect outsiders, and without hesitation uses explosives, ready to sacrifice herself. She does not panic in the face of superior forces, but acts strategically. Despite her status as a jinchuriki, Yugito possesses strong will and control over her beast — she is able to fully transform into the Two-Tails at will, which speaks of long and painful training. Her motto «A cat has nine lives» reflects her perseverance and belief in her abilities. Comrades and subordinates respect her for her firmness and care. Even Killer B, who is younger than her, acknowledges her skill.
