Gourd Toad

The Gourd Toad is a special kind of toad from Mount Myoboku, resembling a gourd bottle in shape: the body is wide at the bottom, then narrows, and widens slightly again toward the top. It has growths resembling eyebrows, puffed cheeks, and a belt or cord wrapped around its belly that emphasizes the shape. A cork with the inscription "Sake" sticks out of the toad's mouth, which references the gourd itself and Jiraiya.

The main purpose of this toad is storage. It is capable of holding various objects inside its body, up to and including a human body. Thanks to the special structure of its organism and, likely, fuinjutsu, the contents remain inside until they are extracted. It was into such a toad that one of Pain's bodies was placed, which he managed to "kill" in battle. Later, Fukasaku brought the gourd toad to Konoha, where the body was extracted from it for further study.
