Six Paths Senjutsu is a special form of senjutsu wielded by Hagoromo Otsutsuki and his brother Hamura. Hagoromo is able to pass this power on to the chosen ones, as he did with his son Ashura, and later with his reincarnation Naruto Uzumaki. It can also be acquired by becoming a jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails, since absorbing the chakra of the nine bijuu is equivalent to gaining the power of the Sage of Six Paths himself.
The user gains a complete understanding of chakra, including all five basic nature transformations and flawless use of Yin-Yang. Sensory abilities increase to such an extent that they allow one to perceive invisible shadows from the world of Limbo. Also comes an almost unconscious mastery of levitation, like that of the Sage of Six Paths. A special pattern appears on the user's back: a mark resembling a Rinnegan above nine magatama. In Obito, this pattern differed - the symbol itself, similar to a rinnegan, was curved in the shape of a magatama. When acquiring the technique, Truth-Seeking Balls also appear.
The jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails gained additional abilities, although it is not exactly known whether they apply to all users of Six Paths Senjutsu. They became completely immune to ninjutsu, and were vulnerable only to senjutsu and taijutsu, although techniques using the Power of Six Paths could also harm them. Their bodies possessed incredible regeneration, recovering within seconds even after losing large parts. Obito could release arms made of chakra from the growths on his back, capable of breaking through the Four-Layered Crimson Barrier. Madara, not possessing the required kekkei genkai, was still able to use the Storm Release technique thanks to the Power of Six Paths.
Naruto uses Six Paths Senjutsu in Six Paths Sage Mode, combining it with a chakra cloak. According to Sasuke, the Truth-Seeking Balls in this form used the chakra of the Sage of Six Paths, which allowed them to wound Madara's shadow.
