Tomoe Rinnegan is a unique form of the Rinnegan, awakened in Sasuke Uchiha's left eye after receiving half of Hagoromo Otsutsuki's chakra. Its distinguishing feature is three tomoe on each of the two inner circles of the eye, six in total. Unlike the ordinary Rinnegan, this dojutsu cannot switch to other versions of dojutsu (as Madara's can), but it retains all the abilities of Sasuke's left Mangekyo Sharingan, including Amaterasu and various genjutsu.
The capabilities of the Tomoe Rinnegan include the full range of the Six Paths Technique: attraction and repulsion through the Deva Path, chakra absorption through the Preta Path, the creation of Chibaku Tensei, and so on. The eye allows one to see invisible objects, reflect the light of the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and turn Susanoo into a vessel for tailed beast chakra. A unique ability is pattern recognition, which allows analyzing regularities in codes and texts, extracting maximum information from a minimum of symbols. The signature space-time dojutsu Amenotejikara instantly swaps two objects within a certain radius.
