Enhanced version of Rasengan with added Wind nature chakra, significantly increasing destructive power of the technique. Retains the original's properties and does not require hand seals.

Wind Release: Rasengan is an enhanced version of the classic Rasengan technique, in which the user adds their Wind Release chakra. This technique represents a transitional stage between the ordinary Rasengan and the Rasenshuriken.
To perform the technique, the shinobi creates a sphere of rotating chakra in the palm, as in the original Rasengan, but additionally applies Wind Release chakra nature to it. This significantly increases the destructive power of the technique, enhancing the cutting properties of chakra. Unlike the ordinary Rasengan, which primarily inflicts impact damage, this version is capable of causing serious lacerating damage.
The technique was developed by the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, as an experimental development of the original Rasengan, but he did not complete his creation.
Like the original, Wind Release: Rasengan does not require the performance of hand seals, relying solely on chakra control and concentration. This makes it ideal for quick application in close combat. The technique retains the compact size of the sphere, allowing precise strikes with immense power. However, unlike the final form — the Rasenshuriken, this version does not scatter into numerous microscopic blades and does not possess long-range capability.
Upon collision with the target, the technique creates a large explosive shockwave.
