Technique of concentrating chakra in the form of a rotating sphere created in the palm. Does not require hand seals and does not belong to any elemental nature.

Rasengan is an A-rank technique developed by the Fourth Hokage of Konoha, Minato Namikaze. It is a powerful close-combat ninjutsu based on the concentration and rotation of chakra in the palm without using any hand seals.
The technique takes the form of a sphere of concentrated chakra rotating simultaneously in three directions at high speed. Upon contact with the target, Rasengan inflicts massive damage, destroying tissues and internal organs at the cellular level due to the "drill" effect—chakra literally drills through everything in its path.
A distinctive feature of Rasengan is its versatility: the technique does not belong to any elemental chakra nature and does not require complex preparatory movements. This makes it an ideal tool for quickly inflicting devastating damage in close combat. However, mastering Rasengan requires a shinobi to have exceptional control over chakra and immense chakra capacity, making the technique inaccessible to most ninja.
Minato Namikaze created Rasengan, inspired by the Tailed Beast Ball Technique, but was never able to imbue the technique with his own elemental affinity—this was achieved only by his son Naruto, who created the Rasenshuriken.
Among known users of Rasengan are Minato Namikaze himself, his teacher Jiraiya, who passed the technique to his student Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto later perfected Rasengan, developing numerous variations—from the large-scale Great Ball Rasengan to various forms incorporating elemental transformations. Also, Konohamaru Sarutobi mastered the technique by teaching himself through observation of Naruto.
