Description

Oodama Rasengan (超大玉螺旋丸 — literally "Super Big Ball Spiral Sphere") is an enhanced version of the legendary Rasengan technique, distinguished by its significantly larger size and destructive power.

Unlike the standard Rasengan, which fits in the palm, Oodama Rasengan reaches sizes comparable to human height or even exceeds it (in some versions). Creating this technique requires a much greater amount of chakra and a higher level of concentration, as it is necessary to maintain stable rotation of a huge volume of energy.

The principle of operation remains similar to the original: chakra is concentrated in the form of a rotating sphere in the user's palm without using any hand seals. However, due to the increased size, the technique is significantly harder to control and apply in close combat — effective use often requires support from shadow clones or special modes, such as Sage Mode or Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.

Oodama Rasengan possesses astonishing destructive power, capable of inflicting serious damage even on powerful opponents and large objects. A strike from this technique creates a powerful shockwave and can destroy significant obstacles. The technique was developed and first demonstrated by Naruto Uzumaki as a result of continuous improvement in mastery of Rasengan.

Despite its power, the technique retains the main advantage of the original — the absence of the need for hand seals and instantaneous application after preparation. However, the time required to accumulate sufficient chakra for Oodama Rasengan significantly exceeds the time needed to create the standard version, making it less versatile in fast-paced combat without proper preparation or ally support.
