Body Wrapping is a unique ability of Black Zetsu that uses its pliable body to envelop the target. It covers the opponent with itself, restricting their movements and forcing them to carry out its will, directly transmitting its own intentions through the body. Having seized another's body, Zetsu can use the target's techniques, their kekkei genkai, and any other abilities. This allows it to control the victim, and when necessary stabilize their life force, preventing them from dying after life-threatening events. Also upon contact, it is able to absorb the target's chakra and transfer it to others, as well as show previously recorded events. If the captured person has a sufficiently strong will, as in the case of Obito, they can suppress Zetsu's influence and use its presence for their own purposes. While Zetsu wraps around the body, its own invulnerability, such as immunity to Infinite Tsukuyomi, is transferred to the host.
