The user gives their own will a material form. The created entity exists separately from the creator, acts independently, and fulfills the task placed in it. It is capable of possessing another's body, covering it and completely subjugating the host. Will can also be placed into an object, for example into a black rod, through which one can then control a target at a distance and launch the rods as projectiles. Some hosts are capable of resisting the control. Conceptually, the technique allows creating intelligent beings that are not clones, and spreading one's will beyond one's own body.
Kaguya Otsutsuki used this ability to create Black Zetsu - an intelligent embodiment of her will that acted for centuries for the sake of her return. She also transferred her will into the Divine Tree, which led to the appearance of the Ten-Tails. Madara Uchiha placed his will into a black rod, calling it the material embodiment of his will and indicating that it should be used for the Six Paths Technique.
