The user saturates their hair with chakra and changes its shape. It hardens, becomes sharp like metal spikes, and lengthens so much that it can wrap around the body. The result is simultaneously a protective layer and a thorny barrier. Attacking such a user in close combat is risky: if the technique activates in response to an already initiated strike, the attacker runs into the spikes themselves. However, the coating does not cover the entire body, so individual areas remain vulnerable (although this should be adjustable)
