At the core of this technique lies an endless series of explosions. Hozuki Gengetsu forms a clone whose body consists of water and oil. The outer oil layer heats up during the clone's active actions, evaporating the water inside. Pressure builds, the clone swells and explodes, ejecting steam. The force of the explosion destroys even sturdy constructions. The rising steam cools and turns into hail, which cools the clone, and it contracts back to its original size, after which the cycle repeats. The clone maintains high speed, sufficient to evade Gaara's chakra-saturated sand, and can create an axe-shaped blade on its arm.
