C1 - the most basic and universal form of Deidara's Explosive Clay. The user molds figures from clay, most often animals and insects. Depending on their size, such figures can be used as a means of transportation, including for flight. Some copy the abilities of the creatures they depict: for example, birds really do fly. This makes them convenient for covert operations and surprise attacks. The explosive power of these clay creations is the lowest among all of Deidara's bombs, but it is still enough to pose a threat. The resulting Explosive Birds are quite maneuverable, and this is the best way for ranged combat.
