Revived by the Impure World, Sakon and Ukon were under Kabuto Yakushi's control and acted as mindless tools, but their personal hatred for their surviving enemies did not fade. They were focused exclusively on revenge against Sasuke's retrieval team. Their arrogance and contempt for their opponents remained.

In their resurrected state, the brothers retain their Kekkei Genkai, which allows them to merge into one body and separate at will. Ukon can still extend limbs from Sakon's body or emerge to attack independently. Their Rashomon summon is now enhanced to triple gates with weapons built into the center, capable of laying down suppressive fire on the enemy. They also have access to a space-time technique that instantly transports them and selected targets into an isolated barrier dimension.
