In a state of full transformation, Yugito retains her proud, determined, and strategic nature, but it is augmented by beastly grace and ruthlessness. She acts cold-bloodedly and purposefully, like a predator that has cornered its prey. Her self-confidence, forged by years of hateful training, now manifests in every movement of her enormous feline body. She does not hesitate or doubt — upon learning that her pursuers are from Akatsuki, she vows to kill them and not let them live. At the same time, she retains her tactical mind: she deliberately lured the enemies into the underground, blew up the exits, and only then transformed. Matatabi herself, whose consciousness mingles with that of the jinchuriki, is also known for her politeness and respect toward worthy opponents. However, in battle this does not soften her resolve: she employs the full power of fire attacks, claws, and tails to destroy the enemy.
