In the resurrected state, Yugito is deprived of free will and acts as a puppet of Tobi, obeying the single field of vision of the Rinnegan and the chakra receivers. However, her true personality — proud, determined, and devoted to the village kunoichi — has not completely disappeared. When Naruto penetrates the combined consciousness of the tailed beasts, Yugito calmly and wisely tells him how Son Goku predicted this event, and then introduces herself together with her bijū Matatabi. She shows no malice or hatred toward those who fight her, rather — detached acceptance. Even under control, she retains her combat tactical grip: uses ambushes, coordinated attacks with other jinchūriki, and does not lose her strategic ability. Her motto 'A cat has nine lives' now sounds ironic, for she is already dead.
