At the same time, she noticeably matured and became extremely intolerant of foolish antics, especially if they were vulgar. She was not afraid to use force to knock some sense into Konohamaru when he crossed the line. Behind this strictness lay genuine care for him and a serious attitude toward her duty. In moments of danger, she showed exceptional courage, rushing without hesitation to protect those weaker than herself. She was sensible enough to channel her friend's fervor in the right direction in the midst of war, not letting him play the hero needlessly. Her determination and directness were combined with a kind heart and a reluctance to lose loved ones. She did not hide her emotions and could burst into tears if she thought a comrade was acting recklessly. She treated the village and its residents with great warmth and a sense of responsibility.
