Biwa Jozu

Jūzo was widely known for his inhuman cruelty — he spilled the blood of his enemies without hesitation and painted the battlefields scarlet. This ruthlessness brought him fear and respect throughout the ninja world. In battle he acted coldly and calculatingly, but at the same time he was sufficiently patient with his squadmates. Jūzo valued professionalism and caution, preferring to carefully plan missions. He took pride in his fame and the fact that his team had become known even to young shinobi of other villages. Despite his outward sternness, Jūzo was not devoid of self-irony: he was surprised that young ninjas from Konoha knew his squad, and acknowledged that their fame was indeed growing. At that period he still did not feel hatred for Kirigakure (it would appear later, after the village's betrayal), but his own cruelty had already fully shaped his reputation.
