Hatake Kakashi is a person of complex and contradictory character, combining apparent carelessness with deep inner restraint. This emotional seclusion is a consequence of deep psychological trauma suffered in his youth: the death of his father, his best friend Obito, and his beloved Rin, followed by the death of his teacher Minato. The loss of loved ones taught him to value the lives of his comrades above any orders, which became the foundation of his philosophy: "Those who break the rules are trash, but those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash."

Despite his cool-headedness in battle, Kakashi has a subtle sense of humor, manifested in his love for the romantic light novels "Icha Icha Paradise," which he reads even during serious conversations. This peculiar hobby serves as a way for him to relieve tension and maintain personal space.
