Description

Sealing Technique is a basic fūinjutsu that allows sealing various objects and even ready-made ninjutsu into scrolls (and sometimes into small sheets of paper). What is stored inside is kept without any damage and is instantly released when the scroll is opened, activated with chakra, or when a preset condition is met. With this technique, one can stockpile weapons, supplies, or elemental objects (such as water) taken directly from nature in advance, so as not to waste chakra on creating them in battle. Kisame Hoshigaki, for example, sealed sharks into a scroll with Water Prison, and anyone who tried to read that scroll would immediately be caught in a trap. Tenten, on the other hand, turned the Sealing Technique into the basis of her fighting style, storing an entire arsenal in scrolls and unleashing it upon her opponent in a hail of projectiles.
