Description

The Animal Path is one of the branches of the Six Paths Technique, available to the Rinnegan wielder. It allows summoning various animals and creatures into battle. These summoned creations seem immortal: even if they are killed, they can be summoned again. A feature of the path is that the summoning requires neither blood nor hand seals. Besides animals, the Animal Path is capable of summoning people as well, but for this hand signs are already used, as in the case of the other Paths of Pain or Konan.

Tactically, the Animal Path is primarily aimed at suppressing several opponents at once through a large number of summons. Summoned creatures often have implanted black receivers and eyes with the Rinnegan pattern, which makes them an extension of the summoner's will. Among the known summons are a giant bird with a drill-like beak, a multi-headed dog, a chameleon with a snake tail, a panda, a bull, a rhinoceros, a crab, and a scolopendra.
