The Naraka Path is one of the branches of the Six Paths Technique, available to the wielder of the Rinnegan. This ability is based on summoning the King of Hell - a giant head that emerges from the ground surrounded by purple flames. The King of Hell possesses a Rinnegan and shares a common field of vision with other summons.
The first ability is interrogation. The user grabs the target, after which the King of Hell appears before them. The victim is paralyzed, and the user begins asking questions. When answers are obtained, the King of Hell opens its mouth, releases tentacle-like arms, and draws out the ghostly essence of the victim's life force in the form of an enlarged tongue. The King of Hell then renders a verdict. If the person lied or refused to answer, the King of Hell tears out their tongue and devours it, which kills the victim. If the truth was told, life is spared, but the interrogated one remains extremely exhausted.
The second ability is restoration of damage. To do this, the King of Hell uses tentacles to pull the damaged body into its mouth, and after some time it emerges fully renewed and restored. It was in this way that Naraka restored the Asura Path after it was destroyed by Choji and Choza Akimichi. Thanks to this restoration, Naraka is considered the most valuable body when using the Six Paths of Pain through six separate bodies, and when forming them, Nagato places Naraka behind, next to the Deva, while the other four are at the forefront.
Kabuto Yakushi mentioned that the user of Naraka can move bodies and souls with the help of the King of Hell.
