The Asura Path is one of the branches of the Six Paths Technique, available to the wielder of the Rinnegan. It grants the user the ability to alter their own body, integrating mechanized armor and a variety of ballistic weaponry into it. Through this path, one can grow up to four additional arms and two additional faces, while a folding serrated belt-blade appears around the waist. All these additions, like the body itself, are equipped with mechanical weapons that are used at will.
The user can fire their forearms as long-range projectiles or detach a hand, revealing a bundle of segmented rockets inside. Flexible blades, drills, and mechanical tentacles can extend from the arms. Acceleration is achieved by releasing chakra from openings in the feet. In addition, a powerful chakra charge is available that destroys several buildings at once: for this, one arm transforms into a cannon or the crown of the head opens up.
The body through which Nagato channeled the Asura Path possessed sufficient physical strength to tear off Jiraiya's arm and crush a throat with ordinary taijutsu, as well as to hurl the Animal Path from the outskirts of Konoha straight into the village. The mechanized internals allowed surviving fatal damage. All of this matched the nickname "war demon" and provided enormous versatility.
