Curse Technique: Death-Controlling Blood is Hidan's ritual in which he binds his body to the victim's body. For it to work, two conditions must be met. First, Hidan draws Jashin's symbol on the ground with his own blood and stands in its center. Then he must obtain the target's blood and drink it. After that, Hidan's skin turns black, white markings appear, and he begins to resemble a skeleton. From that moment on, everything that happens to Hidan's body is repeated on the victim: a scratch on his arm turns into a scratch on the enemy's body, and a knife strike to the heart becomes the same strike for the target.
As long as Hidan stands inside the circle, the bond cannot be broken. If he is knocked out or lured beyond the symbol's bounds, the curse is temporarily disabled, and the victim is safe again. In essence, in this state Hidan becomes a living voodoo doll, and his immortality allows him to inflict any wounds on himself, even fatal ones, without fear of dying.
