Unlike its more powerful and well-known counterparts—such as Gamabunta—this technique summons an unnamed medium-sized toad. The summoned creature possesses basic intelligence, is capable of independent movement and executing commands, and is generally quite strong, easily overcoming a jonin on its own. The toad can carry a scroll with contract seals, which allows other potential users to enter into a full contract with the toad clan.

In combat, this technique serves as a versatile tool: the summoned toad can perform reconnaissance functions, relay messages, create diversionary maneuvers, or directly engage in battle, using its agility and ability to jump high.
