Description

Summoning Technique: Slug - a ninjutsu that allows the summoning of a slug from the Shikkotsu Forest. The only known slug is Katsuyu, a huge creature that is summoned in parts. Slugs are capable of shooting acid from their mouths to attack, and for defense split into many small copies. They can envelop a person's body, using their high durability to protect it from physical damage or preserve life in a state of stasis. Katsuyu also absorbs the summoner's chakra and can manipulate it, as in the technique Katsuyu: Immense Network Healing, when the summoner channels chakra through the slug to heal many people at a distance. Through this technique the summoner gains a sensory link with Katsuyu and can assess the physical condition of others, making slugs an excellent source of information. The summoning requires a contract and blood, like any summoning technique.
