Description

The user summons the Shell King — a large creature whose body consists of three segments. Its tail part resembles a shell, while the other parts are similar to an oyster and a giant mollusk. This summon is considered very strong: even Jiraiya, one of the legendary Sannin, had difficulty handling it.

On the user's command, the Shell King can shoot spikes at several opponents at once. Its tongues act as whips: they can entangle an enemy or kill him. In addition, the creature is capable of casting a special genjutsu that completely immobilizes the target. The effect is so strong that it deprives even a Sannin of mobility. The Shell King can also hover by releasing air from the lower part of its body. It is worth mentioning its incredible defense. Naruto attacked its shell with a rasengan, which dealt the summon no damage at all.
