Clone Technique

Clone Technique is a basic ninjutsu, mandatory for every shinobi to master. The Konoha Academy does not allow students to graduate without mastering this technique, and it was precisely the inability to perform it three times that prevented Naruto Uzumaki from passing the graduation exams. The user creates one or several copies of themselves, devoid of physical substance and therefore unable to deal damage. The sole purpose of such illusory doubles is to distract the enemy while the real attack is being prepared. Upon careful observation, clones can be distinguished from the original by indirect signs: they do not flatten the grass, do not kick up dust, and leave no other physical traces.
