Description

Partial Expansion Size Technique - a more flexible version of the basic body expansion, used by members of the Akimichi clan. Instead of swelling up entirely and becoming a clumsy giant, the user enlarges only individual limbs - usually arms or legs. A palm grown to giant size catches the opponent off guard and slams them into the ground with monstrous force, while a swollen leg crashes down from above like a battering ram. If defense is needed, the enlarged flesh works as a living shield, absorbing the inertia of heavy blows.

The price for such selectivity is a huge expenditure of chakra. Choji, for example, in his youth could not pull off this technique at all without special colored pills, so costly it was for his body.
