Armed Susanoo

Armed Susanoo is a stage of Susanoo's development in which a layer of armor appears around the already formed humanoid body of chakra. This armor enhances defense, giving the figure a resemblance to a yamabushi - a mountain warrior-hermit clad in armor. Like other stages, it is controlled by the user's will, surrounds his body, and is capable of both defending and attacking, while one's own techniques can be performed through it. The cost of maintaining the form remains enormous: chakra is consumed constantly, the user's body experiences growing pain, and with prolonged use the eyes suffer. Damaged armor does not restore itself - it can either be repaired by moving to the next stage, or dispersed and created anew. Physical attacks almost never break through this defense. But even this is still not the pinnacle of Susanoo.
