The user releases a large lump of lava from their mouth. This lump quickly hardens, forming a hollow sphere. The sphere is made of a durable, rubber-like material and serves to protect an object or a person by completely surrounding them. The properties of this material allow it to absorb and dissipate the force of impact: upon being hit, the sphere either deforms or bounces off. An experienced user, such as Dodai, is able to create the appearance of protection while actually using the sphere as a diversionary maneuver, quietly extracting the object at the moment of formation. Karui uses darker and harder spheres, which she calls Rubber Spheres. These spheres are used for long-range attacks, can change in size from a palm to the size of a house, are controlled at a distance, and build up momentum by bouncing off surfaces. The damage dealt by each sphere depends on the amount of chakra invested in it.
