Tailed Beast Ball is the strongest technique of the tailed beasts, also available to jinchuriki in the corresponding form. To create the ball, the user gathers in their mouth positive black and negative white chakra in an 8:2 ratio, gives them the shape of a sphere (in the Ten-Tails' case, a cone) and fires it at the target. The process requires a colossal amount of chakra. Externally, the finished ball looks like a dense black clump.
The ball itself is incredibly heavy: even hovering in the air, it presses down the ground beneath it. When fired, it moves at enormous speed, and its explosion vaporizes almost everything in the affected area. A standard size is enough to wipe mountains off the face of the earth, and in certain cases the power of the tailed beasts caused destruction felt at the other end of the continent. If a jinchuriki uses the ball without entering the beast's full form, it turns out weaker but still remains a serious threat.
The launching method may differ. Most often the ball is fired whole, but some users absorb it and release it as a narrow beam, concentrating the destruction on a smaller area. Gyuki can release the ball as a wave without absorbing it. Obito as the Ten-Tails' jinchuriki could create several balls at once with the help of the tree, directing them in different directions. Naruto in Nine-Tails Chakra Mode forms the ball with his hands, like a Rasengan, and can add natural energy to it to strike Truth-Seeking Balls.
Minato Namikaze created the Rasengan inspired precisely by this technique. Killer Bee noted that the process of forming the Rasengan completely repeats the creation of the Tailed Beast Ball, only the rotation of chakra replaces the shape of the tailed beast.
