Jinchuuriki Regeneration is a passive ability that jinchuuriki possess thanks to the chakra of the sealed tailed beast. Naruto Uzumaki, being the host of Kurama, gained passive accelerated wound healing. In its normal state it manifests as rapid tissue restoration: a cut on the palm inflicted by a kunai healed before his eyes, and Kakashi Hatake noted the unusual speed of healing. Naruto even mistakenly attributed the effect to the ointment given to him by Hinata, although in fact the wounds closed thanks to the Nine-Tails' chakra. In battle, especially when using Kurama's chakra or in transformed forms, regeneration is enhanced: a Chidori wound that pierced his shoulder closed after entering the mode. In Version 2, regeneration constantly repairs the damage caused by the corrosive chakra itself, but such a cycle of cellular destruction and restoration in the long term shortens lifespan. Other jinchuuriki also possess a similar ability, but its intensity depends on the beast and on control over its power.
