Description

Partial Transformation is a jinchuriki's ability to transform only individual parts of their body, bringing them closer to the appearance of the sealed tailed beast. Unlike a full transformation, here there is no need to fully release the beast; one can transform an arm, a leg, the back, or the tails. Such parts look like the beast's real limbs — with fur, scales, or a shell — rather than like translucent or dark chakra. Thanks to this, the user gains access to the beast's power and anatomical features without losing control over their body.

With partial transformation, one can grow additional tentacles, as Killer Bee does, increasing the reach of grabs and agility. He also transformed one arm to strengthen a throw or block a strike. Naruto Uzumaki, in a critical situation, entered a state almost equal to Kurama's full form, lacking only the ninth tail, skin, and fur, which allowed him to fight on equal terms with giant opponents. After gaining harmony with Kurama, he limited himself to creating tails or a head for pinpoint attacks.
